Rosemary Howard

Rosemary Howard is an English actress, teleprompter, and a voiceover artist, who rose to fame for her work in films like Split (2016), James White Click to look into! >> Read More... (2015), and King Cobra (2015). She completed her education from the University of Connecticut, obtaining a Bachelor's of Fine Arts degree in acting. After that, she trained at the HB Studio in New York City and learned techniques of acting under John Monteith and Ed Morehouse. She also joined the Second City Training Centre to learn the elements of improvisation from experts like Mark Levinson and Michael Rock.

Rosemary began her career doing small roles in Television serials and films. She worked as an uncredited actor in TV series like The Sopranos, Broadway Empire, Law and Order, Michael and Michael Have Issues, Homeland, etc. She also did small roles in movies like Ted, The Amazing Spiderman 2, Tumbledown, etc. However, Howard got noticed for her role as Kevin's mother in Splits. She has also played lead roles in movies like Right of Way (2017). She worked as a supporting actor in Nothing Sacred and ODDSAC. Rosemary has also worked as a voiceover artist in various iTunes podcasts like Desolate Metropolis and Limetown.

She has also featured in music tracks like You (album: Sick Puppy), and The Ship's Going Down (album: Sunlight Searchparty). Being fluent in languages like French, Italian, Spanish and German makes it easy for Howard to work on a variety of scripts. She can act in various accents, including Russian, French, Danish, British and Southern, which makes her a versatile actress. She is also a trained guitarist and a pianist, thus having a sound knowledge of music as well.

She does not consider any role to be small or unworthy but believes in making the most out of each opportunity. Rosemary has been a regional nominee for the Irene Ryan Scholarship Competition and has won the Dionysus Award thrice, one for her role as the Best Actress, the other two for her roles as a supporting actor. Her upcoming films include A Bread Factory- Part One, Mr. Richardson and Oxalis, all of which are in various post-production stages. However, she just plays simple, supporting characters in these. She plays the lead character, Mona, in another upcoming movie, Right of Way based in New York City, andwill be released in 2017.
