Madelaine Petsch

Madelaine Grobbelaar Petsch is an American actress. She was born on August 18, 1994. She was born and brought up in Port Orchard, Washington. Her parents are from South Africa, and she spent her childhood traveling from America to South Africa, and vice-versa. Madelaine developed an ardent passion for dance during her infant years.

Madelaine began taking dance lessons at the age of three and soon got into Theatre lessons. She completed her schooling from Tacoma School of the Arts. She shifted to Los Angeles after her graduation. Madelaine was raised vegetarian and became a vegan at the age of fourteen.

In an interview, she confessed that Vegan diet keeps her body "fueled and ran smoothly." The actress began her acting career with commercial advertising. In 2014, she starred in an advertising campaign for Coca-Cola. In 2015, she acted in a science-fiction titled, "The Hive." In the same year, she played the role of a mermaid in an episode of "Instant Mom."

In the next year, the actress starred in "The Curse of Sleeping Beauty." Madelaine played the part of Eliza in the movie. It affected her, and she started seeing her red hair as a curse. Playing the character of Cheryl Blossom gave her closure to bullying, and she understood that bullying was a result of insecurities faced by the bullies.

In 2018, Madelaine starred in a Horror thriller film titled "Polaroid." She played the role of Joanne Flame in the film, and her performance was highly appreciated. In 2018, Madelaine won the MTV Movie and TV Award for the Scene Stealer in "Riverdale." The actress disclosed in an interview that she plays Cheryl using different voices depending upon the emotions of the scene. Madelaine loves the show and the character she plays. The actress is a huge pet lover, and she has a dog named, Peter.

She also ran an awareness campaign for PETA. Madelaine also has her YouTube channel where she usually interacts with her fans. She is presently in a relationship with Travis Mills, and she is very open about her relationship because she doesn't believe in hiding something as pure as love.
