Jessica Brown Findlay is an English actress born on September 14th, 1989. She was born in Berkshire. She was the child of Beverley and Christopher-Brown Findlay. Her father is a financial adviser, and her mother is a teacher’s assistant. She joined in the Furze Platt Senior School in Maidenhead, Berkshire. She got trained in ballet dancing with the National Youth Ballet and Associates of Royal Ballet. Due to her ballet skill, she was invited to dance with Kirov, the resident classical ballet company in Russia at the Royal Opera House at the age of fifteen.

After her senior school completion, she got admissions into various ballet schools, but she chose to get into Arts Educational School because it provides A-level courses in ballet. During her final year of the course, she underwent three operations on her ankles. Unfortunately, the last operation did not go well, and it ended her dancing career. She always had a backup plan of pursuing a career in acting if her dancing fails one day. Though she did not have the courage to express her acting talent, having no choice, she was forced to show her skills.

She switched over to Fine Arts course at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design. She first got her chance in the short film Man on a Motorcycle. Her first lead role came in 2011 with Albatross. She got nominated for the Most Promising Newcomer at the British Independent Film Awards and also Evening Standard British Film Awards. At the same time, she played in the television series Misfits and Downtown Abbey.

In 2012, she acted in the miniseries Labyrinth. In 2012, she got a chance to join the crew of Winter’s Tale and the movie got released in 2014. She was the leading lady to act in the premiere Alice in Wonderland, but at the nick of the time, she was replaced.
