Jessica Barden is a versatile young English actress. She was born on July 21, 1992, in Northallerton, North Yorkshire in England. She moved to Wetherby in the year 1995 and studied at Wetherby High School. In the year 2007, it was said that Jessica would play the role of Kayleigh Morton in the British soap, Coronation Street; she then made her first appearance in March 2007.
Subsequently, she was seen in the television show, Death on Angel’s Tide. On September 29, 2008, she made her last appearance on Coronation Street. She is also part of the British television drama series, The Chase and the children’s TV sitcom, My Parents Are Alien. Also in 2007, Jessica appeared as Mary Ratcliffe in the comedy-drama film, Mrs. Ratcliffe’s Revolution.
In 2015, she starred in the two-part drama series, The Outcast, which was adapted from Sadie Jones’ novel of the same name. In 2016, she had a recurring role as a homeless and brutalized young prostitute in the British-American drama series, Penny Dreadful.
