A Dutch Actress, Elise Schaap came to life on 21 September 1982, in the Country of Tulips, Netherlands, in the city of Rotterdam. She made her debut on television in a cameo role in the series “Bitches.” She joined the University of Amsterdam to study communication sciences after high school, which helped her get a role in Hotnews.nl (a youth series of three seasons).While studying dramatics; she was offered a role of Marjorie Mullin in the movie “Bride Flight,” which was her debut movie. Plays like Zomergasten, The Taming of the Shrew, and Rocco & his Brothers also had her in the lead. She completed her graduation in 2009 after which she starred in the floor for three years. Elise also worked in The Swing Girls, and her role was appreciated a lot .
She also bagged the Golden Nymph Award in 2011 for Best Actress. She worked in various movies like Facing West. Crime series Hart to Hart had her in a regular role for the season. She never left her passion for theater while working in movies. Silver screen had her in the movies Valentino and Farewell to the Moon. She was nominated for the Golden Calf Award in the Best supporting role for her flawless work in Farewell to The Moon, and she managed to get an award in Romania’s Film Festival. Musical drama, ‘He Believes in Me’ had her in the role of Rachel Van Galen in the year 2014.Elise has worked for various TV commercials, and she also works as a voice-over.TV series like Core and Family Kruys where she played the role of Ruxandra Nikolayev.

She is in a relationship with a Dutch actor Woute de Jong for the past 11 years, and they had a child together in 2015.Elise has a deep passion for theatre, and she has managed to work on TV, movies, and theatre very well.
