Cinnamon Schultz is an American actress and thespian. Cinnamon’s dad was a theatre professor and part-time director. Hermother was a singer. Her parents’ professions inspired Cinnamon to take up acting as a career. Cinnamon attended the University of Kansas where she took up an undergraduate course in acting. Later, Schultz completed her MFA at the University of Iowa. Cinnamon met her future husband, Brian Paulette in her college. During the screening of ‘Cabaret’, Brian proposed to Cinnamon which she accepted.
In 1995, she starred in ‘My Antonia’, an adaptation of Willa Cather’s novel. The crew filmed the flick in Grand Island, Nebraska. It released on 29 March 1995. It was Cinnamon’s first movie in which she got the credit after the actress acted in “A Matter of Justice” and “Emily’s Ghost” in minor roles. In 2010, the makers zeroed in on her to be a part of ‘Winter’s Bone’.

Schultz emphasized that an actor gets 2-3 weeks to know about his/her role in addition to understanding the relationships with fellow artists. Cinnamon talked about films where she admitted that a performer got a couple of opportunities to shoot a particular scene but lamented the lack of time for developing a rapport with the colleagues.
In 2004, Cinnamon was one of the founders of Kansas City Actors Theatre, a foundation for the Kansas-based artists. Importantly, the organization has insisted on hiring the locals for the plays as it has created a lot of jobs for people who live in Kansas. Cinnamon considers her role of Catherine in the drama ‘Proof’ as her favourite character. Recently, American Theatre Wing recognized KCAT and it has decided to grant funds to the institution.
