Anamaria Marcina is a Romanian Film and Television Actress. Anamaria was born on the 1st of April in the year 1978. She was born in Iasi, Romania. She lives in London, United Kingdom. Anamaria had a strong foundation in Arts while she grew up. Her mother was a trained classical Violinist, and her father was a theatre professional in a university. Anamaria learned classical Violin since her childhood. At the age of seven, she admitted to her parents that she wanted to be an Actress. Anamaria graduated from the University of Fine Arts, Music, and Drama. In Iasi, Romania. Anamaria started working as an actress with the miniseries Sex Traffic (2004) with the role Elena Visinescu. She later appeared in more films such as Youth Without Youth (2007), Perfect Sense (2011), Fury (2014), Nico, 1998 (2017), and many more.

She also appeared in many TV shows such as Hotel Babylon (2006), Holby City (2010), Doctor Who (2012), The Missing (2014), The Star (2019), and many more. Anamaria gave some breathtaking performances. She won a BAFTA Award, Golden Nymph Award, and Royal Television Society Award for Best Actress for her performance in the series Sex Traffic (2004). She also a GOPO Award, International Cinephile Society Award, Palm Springs International Film Festival Award, Stockholm Film Festival Award, Village Voice Film Poll for Best Actress for her performance in the film 4 Months, 3 Weeks, and 2 Days (2008). She also won a GOPO Award and Romanian Filmmakers Union Award for Best Actress for her performance in the film Boogie (2008).
