Tom Holland is an English dancer and actor. He was born in Kingston town of London in the United Kingdom. He is the son of Nicola Elizabeth, who is a photographer and Dominic Holland, who is an author and comedian. His parents had four children of whom the two Sam and Harry are twins and the other Patrick, who is eight years younger to Holland. Tom’s paternal grandparents belonged to Ireland and the Isle of Man. Holland pursued his school level education from a Roman preparatory school named Donhead. After that, he attended Wimbledon College in London until the year 2012 and, later on, started attending The BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology. Holland’s dancing skills were spotted by the choreographer Lynne Page when he performed at the Richmond Dance Festival in the year 2006. He started dancing at his college in a hip-hop class in Nifty Feet Dance School. Holland gave around eight auditions and trained for two years to finally perform his debut role Michael in Billy Elliot the Musical. Once he along with others in Billy Elliots were invited to meet the Prime Minister of UK, Gorden Brown on the occasion of the fifth anniversary of Billy Elliot the Musical. He was cast in the English version of Japanese animated film Arrietty in the year 2011 under the production of Studio Ghibli.

, etc. It was disclosed in the year 2015 that Holland will star in one of the biggest characters of Marvel Entertainment in Captain America: Civil War as Spider-Man and will also star in the next Spider-Man movie too. He has won Young Artist Award for Best Leading Young Actor in a Feature Film, London Film Critics Circle Awards 2012 for Young British Performer of the Year, Empire Award for the Best Newcomer for his movie The Impossible.
