Born on February 25, 1971 in California – U.S. He graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor of History and English. He also attended/studied in Los Angeles Valley College. He was a Catholic before and later on converted to Protestant. He married Christine Louise Harrell in 1992.

He won the Young Artist Award for the movie “The Goonies” which was his debut film. He also starred in the 1987 movies “Like Father Like Son” and “White Water Summer.”  He made 2 films in 1989 named as “The War of the Roses” and the drama film “Staying Together.” He also appeared in the movie “Memphis Belle” in 1990 and “Toy Soldiers” in 1991.
