Michael McElhatton is a very famous writer and an even more loved and famous actor of the American film and television industry. He took birth in Terenure, which is in the Republic of Ireland on 12th of September in the year 1963. He wanted to become an actor from the time that he was very young and worked very hard to brush up his skills in acting and drama. Till the time he was living in Ireland, he attended Terenure College, which is a prestigious institution especially for its courses in acting and drama and have a tradition that can be dated to a long past. After this, he had to shift to London where he had to spend eight years of his life. He got himself enrolled into the Royal Academy where he did a course in Dramatic Art in the year 1987.
After he had completed his education, he shifted back to Ireland and it is here that his career took a boost after he started participating in several theatric pieces as well as television shows. One of the breakthrough performances that Michael has registered to his name is the role of Lord Roose Botton in the television series named Game of Throne, which is presented by HBO. He had first appeared in this famous show only as a guest star but after the kind of response that Lord Roose’s character got, Michael became a regular cast member and is part of the team of GoT till now when they are running in their 6th season.
