James Meryk is an actor and dancer from London, United Kingdom. The actor is of Caucasian ethnicity and stands at 5 feet 11 inches. The actor has blue eyes, blonde hair, and white skin tone. James graduated from London Studio Centre in 2012. He became a part of the theater company “Action To The World”. Soon after graduating from the company, he toured across the globe for the stage adaptation of Anthony Burgess’ widely acclaimed novel A Clockwork Orange with the company. In 2013, the first episode of the series was released. McCarthy was also part of “Belonging to Laura”, an adaptation of Lady Windermere’s Fan by Oscar Wilde, where he played the role of Rory Thompson. The movie received nomination in the Best Single Drama category. From 2006-2010, McCarthy portrayed the character of Kris Fisher in ‘Hollyoaks’, for which he accepted the awards for the Best Newcomer, and also went on to win various National Television Awards. He was seen in the comedy drama, “Puppy Love”, in 2014, which had Jo Scanlan and Pepperdine as his co-stars. Gerard’s famous works include his 2014 feature film, “A Nightingale Falling”, which was an Irish movie where he played as Captain Shearing, set during the time of the Irish War of Independence. It portrays the story of two sisters taking care of a mutilated soldier. Garret Daly and Martina McGlynn directed the movie.
