Gerald McRaney

Gerald McRaney was born on August 19, 1947, in Collins, USA. His parents were Edna and Clyde. He married Delta Burke. They met at the TV series show, "Simon & Simon". They dated each other and then started their life together. He mostly played the role of a veteran on this show called "Simon & Simon", and he had been supported by many veterans. He always used to visit the Sailors and Marines, and signed autographs for them, one among it was signing a sailor’s hat. By 1993, he started visiting troops in Somalia. He had participated in the political field, and he is an active member of the National Rifle Association, as well as part of the Conservative Republican. He underwent Lung cancer surgery successfully, in the year 2004.

He started his career in filmography by the year 1969. His first film was "Night of Bloody Horror", where he played the lead role.

His television career initiated in the year 1979, where his first TV show was "The Dukes of Hazzard". In this show, he starred in two different episodes. In addition to those shows, he has also starred in many episodes of "The Incredible Hulk". He became best known for his acting in the role of Rick Simon, in the year 1980, for the famous show, "Simon & Simon”. He has acted in several roles like a business magnet, jealous lover, police officer, and a car driver for a race car, among others. Besides episodes, he has also acted in television films such as "Countdown To D-Day", and "Going for Broke", to name a couple. His famous shows include "Murder", and "Crime Scene Investigation". His first film career was initialized in the year 1999, with the movie, "A Holiday Romance". By the year 2000, he started to host several series. Then, he became a sponsor for shotgun products. By the year 2013 and 2016, he starred in the serial called "House of Cards", as a CEO.
