Stephen Dougray Scott is an actor. He was born on 26th December in the year 1965. His birthplace was Glenrothes in Fife, Scotland in the UK.  His parents were Alan Scott and Elma. His father was a sales clerk and actor. His mother was a nurse.  Dougray studied in Auchmuty High School. He took admission in a drama course. Then, from 1984 to 1987, he enrolled himself at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama. It was in Cardiff. In his college days, he received the title of Most Promising College Student Drama Award. Later, he shifted to London in 1988.

Coming to his acting career, he started his acting from television, national theater, and puppet plays. He had his first appearance in the TV series titled as Soldier. He had his first film entitled as Twin Town. He had his first important role as Prince Henry in the movie Ever After. Other was a cinema adapted from a novel by Robert Harris called Enigma. He starred as the hero in that screenplay. Later, in 2000, he contracted for the character of a villain in the photoplay, Mission: Impossible II. He also did X-Men. However, Hugh Jackman replaced him.

After Die another day, Dougray replaced Pierce Bronson for the role of James Bond. However, it did not remain in his hand as Daniel Craig took the role of James Bond in Casino Royale. Dougray presented himself in some series like The Ten Commandments. He starred as Moses. He featured in five episodes of the show, Heist. It aired on March in 2006. Later, in 2006 to 2007, he appeared as Teri Hatcher in Desperate Housewives –Season III. Then, in 2007, he did Hit Man, which was based on the famous video games. In 2009, he was about to play in the drama show named Father and Son.

Dougray’s other acts were The Day of the Triffids. In 2011, he did Love’s Kitchen. Then, in 2011, he presented as Matt Busby, a football manager in United. In this, Busby was severely injured. In 2013, he appeared as Alec Palmer, a guest in Hiding. Other co-stars were Jenna Coleman, Matt Smith, and Jessica Raine. In 2015, he signed in Taken 3 as a villain. In 2016, he got the opportunity to become the voice in BP, a British gas and oil company. In 2016, he did Fear the Walking Dead.

Coming to his personal life, he married to Sarah Trevis. He had two twins. Later, he married to Claire Forlani in 2007.
