The third and final installment of the ' Taken Taken is a Franco-American crime action thriller d >> Read More... ' series is here, directed by Olivier Megaton. It’s an English - French language movie.

Plot: The story starts with Bryan Mills ( Liam Neeson I don't know who you are. I don't know wha >> Read More... ), a former covert operative who visits his daughter Kim ( Maggie Grace Shannon Rutherford’s cosseted whippersnapper chara >> Read More... ) and ex-wife Lenore ( Famke Janssen She is known to be one of the most desirable femal >> Read More... ). It is then that he comes to know about Lenore's troubled relationship with Stuart (Dougray Scott). A twist comes when the very next day Bryan receives a text from Lenore for breakfast, but when he arrives at her place, she is already dead. L.A.P.D. Inspector Frank Dotzler (Forest Whittaker) arrests him, but he manages to escape.

Now Mills wants to find the real killer. He contacts her daughter Kim, and she reveals to him about her pregnancy and that she smells something fishy, as Stuart has hired bodyguards as never before. Many attempts are made to kill Bryan, but he survives each time. Bryan kidnaps Stuart to know the truth, who takes the name of his ex-business partner Oleg Malenkov (Sam Spruell) behind Lenore's killing. But when Bryan is close in killing Oleg, the story offers a twist, when it is learned that actually planner behind this all was Stuart.

He killed Lenore and used Bryan to kill Oleg to get the insurance money. Then, with an action-packed climax, Bryan overpowers Stuart and hands him over to LAPD inspector. The story ends when Kim expresses her desire to name her child after her mother, Lenore.

Analysis: When we watch the sequel of a successful movie, we have high hopes for it. But in ' Taken 3 Click to look into! >> Read More... ', all the hopes shatter as the earlier installments were much better than this one. Be it plot, direction or screenplay, it lets us down in each department. The box office earnings of the movie were satisfactory, but that was only because of the marketing and it being a sequel of a hit series.

Star Performances: The film survives only because of Liam Neeson as he is the only one who seems to have done justice to his role. His hard work deserves appreciation. The director Olivier Megaton can't be convicted for the failure of this film because the real culprit is the script. Why would someone pay for such a dumb story? And to add to the casualties, no other actor, technical departments have added their contribution.

What's there ????

1. Liam Neeson saves the disaster to an extent by his power packed performance.

2. Some of the stunts, especially by Liam Neeson are impressive.

What's not there ????

1. From a thriller movie, we expect some major twists in the tale which turns the story upside down, but here the film moves on a smooth track throughout.

2. The writers, Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen, could have waited a little longer and written something that interests the audiences.

3. The screenplay is below average.

4. The action scenes are also stale.

Verdict: 'Taken 3 ' could be watched by the fans of this franchise but after watching it you'll realize, that it's high time to end this series.
