Christoph Kottenkamp is a German television and film actor hailing from Bad Arolsen, a small town in Germany. He was born on 28th January 1971. The tall blue-eyed handsome is an Aquarian. He completed his education from the Christian-Rauch-Schule. He had a sheer passion for acting right from his school days. His parents wanted him to take a serious profession, though. But he convinced them and joined the acting school and successfully graduated from there. He has an open mind to thoughts and ideas. He loves portraying them on stage. Christoph did a lot of stage shows. He has made many appearances in various theater dramas. The biggest advantage is that he is a talented personality who not only knows German but also knows to speak English.
This gives him a competitive edge over other German actors. He also played in various ZDF productions like ‘Unser Charly’, ‘As Kalle comes’, etc. Christoph gained a lot of fan following by then. In 2000, he was a part of one of the directorial ventures of Stephane Tielemans. It was called as the “Cric & Croc.” In 2003, he did a featured film known as “No Science Fiction” which was directed by Franz Müller. Other films included “Muxmäuschenstill”, “Short Cut to Hollywood”, “Emilie Richards: Longing for New Zealand”, etc.
He was best known for his character role in ‘Red Roses’ and ‘Verbotene Liebe’. He managed to gain a lot of public attention with his brilliant performance. He is also a recipient of awards and recognitions. His TV appearances include ‘Heiter bis todle - Henker & Richter’, ‘Alles über Anna’, ‘Julie’, ‘The way to happiness’, ‘SOKO Wismar’ , ‘Da kommt Kalle’ , etc. In the year 2011, he was a part of the “Forbidden Love,” a series broadcasted by ARD Productions which lasted till 2015. He is currently busy with theater drama shows and is also working on few movies. He enjoys listening to music is his spare time.
