Born on August 18, 1978, in California, U.S, Andy Samberg is an American musician, actor, filmmaker and comedian. He is the son of Marjorie "Margi" Marrow, a primary teacher, and Joe Samberg, a photographer. He has two sisters named Darrow and Johanna.

He is Jewish, but he depicts himself as a "non-religious person." His granddad was a mechanical therapist and humanitarian Alfred J. Marrow, and his third cousin is U.S. Representative Tammy Baldwin, of Wisconsin. Samberg went to primary school with his Brooklyn Nine co-star Chelsea Peretti.
