Vince Edwards was an American singer, actor, and director born on July 9, 1928, and died on March 11, 1996. His real name is Vince Edwards Zoine, but he is commonly known as Vince Edwards in the industry. Edward was born in New York City, to Julia and Vinceto Zoine, and is the youngest of seven children. Edward studied aviation mechanics at East New York Vocational High School, and graduated in June 1945. He is an excellent swimmer who has worked as a lifeguard at Coney Island and swam for the Flatbush Boys Club. Edward studied at American Academy of Dramatic Arts. He was active in the industry from 1947 to 1995. He died of pancreatic cancer in Los Angeles, California, on March 11, 1996, and was buried at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City, California. Â
