Loughnane was born on January 4, 1982, in Romford, Essex, England. He pursued acting at the Sylvia Young Theatre School for about five years. It was there that he was picked up for roles in commercials for Trouble TV, for the BBC Production Sort It, and the television series The Bill.

The British actor has also been a part of theatre shows like Hamlet and A Slice To Many. He underwent an acting course at The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA) and emerged with three distinctions. The actor has also pursued other courses like the pinewood acting course and a three-year course at Pluton Theatre School.

Besides the movies mentioned above, Loughnane has featured in other films like World Cup Heist, where he is cast in the role of Rick Stevens. Swaylee also co-wrote the script of the sports drama along with Lee Westwick. The actor featured as one of the lead characters, Raver, in the 2020 comedy film Pit Stop. The 2019 action film Rise of the Footsoldier: The Heist is another of his movie projects where he plays the paparazzi photographer.

Swaylee featured as Banish in the 2019 short film Route-3, helmed by Thanasis Neofotistos, produced under the banners of IMAGINA Pictures and Sarajevo City of Film. He was also a part of the comedy-drama Two Is a Family, where he portrayed Andrew. In the 2010 action-thriller The Heavy, scripted and helmed by Marcus Warren, Loughnane featured as Gang Member #2.

The Batman actor has produced, directed, and starred in the film Mother’s Child. In the movie, Loughnane plays the role of John Barrett. He has also worked in television series Salvage Soldier, Twenty-Something, Sheltered Times, You’re Next, The Re-Up, TV movies Wrestling Training, The Crappers, TV series documentaries Autopsy: The Last Hours Of, Nazi Mega Weapons, I Am A Killer, and Breaking The Band, among others.

Loughnane has also featured in ‘That’s Life’ magazine as a model. He likes to read and write and is experienced in street dance, ballroom dance, and wrestling. The versatile actor has a black belt in martial arts and has been a part of a band named AWOL in 1999.
