Julianne Hough

Julianne Hough has won the ABC: Dancing with the Stars, twice. Born to Marianne and Bruce Hough (Chairman of Utah Republican Party), in all they were five siblings and Julianne was the youngest. The entire family was in the field of music and dance, as her brother, Derek, and the three sisters, all were dancers. The famous musicians, Rocky, Rydel, and Riker, are her second cousins.

After receiving formal training at the Center Stage Performing Arts Studio in Orem, she started dancing in competitions at the age of nine. A year later, her parents got divorced and the girl was sent to learn dancing with her brother Derek in London. The three children, Julianne, Derek, and Mark (son of the tutor), danced extremely well. After joining The Conti Academy Of Theater Arts, they also learnt theater, gymnastics, jazz, ballet, etc.

At the age of 15, being the youngest dancer, she won both Junior World Latin Champion and International Latin Youth Champion. Though she was hardworking and talented, she was also mentally and physically abused when she started becoming a woman from a girl. Hence, she left the place and never returned there. Coming to her love life, it has been complicated. She first dated the handsome singer, Chuck Wicks, for more than a year, but then they had a mutual break-up. This inspired her to sing the song, “Is that so Wrong”.

Then came Ryan Seacrest, but it couldn’t work out with him as well. Finally, she announced her engagement with hockey player, Brooks Laich on 18 August, 2015. Julianne excelled well in all three: dancing, singing and acting. As a dancer, she had been the champion of many shows like Dancing With the Stars, Indianapolis 500, and was also nominated for the Primetime Emmy Awards for superb choreography on Dancing with the Stars.

On 25th August, 2008, she was partnered with another beauty, Hannah Montana Hannah Montana is an American Musical Comedy TV sh >> Read More... , and together the girls had a blast. Although, later in October, she suffered from abdominal pains and had to undergo surgery, where her appendix was removed. She missed a few performances, but the pair managed to reach the semi-finals of the competition. In 2007, she released her album, “Will You Dance With me” on iTunes.

In 2001, she began her acting career as a Hogwarts School Girl in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. In 2011, she played the leading role of Ariel Moore in the movie, ‘ Footloose Click to look into! >> Read More... ’. She even partnered with her brother for various shows, many of which were won.
