Derek Sypniewski is a European artist. Born in Poland, Europe, he moved to Toronto when he was young. Derek comes from a Polish class, so he was exposed to various arts and paintings since he was a child. Derek was particularly attracted to Chinese culture and paintings. He loved the Chinese works so much that he even studied Chinese with famous painter Wu Yisheng to understand the artist's work better.
Apart from painting, Derek is an expert in computers, photography, and stage sound. He loves oil painting and watercolor painting, the most. His works exhibited in Vancouver, Toronto, and other places. Derek Sypniewski's arts became a collectible painting by the art collector since most of his creations were fresh, attractive, and carry elements of the east. He is a member of the Ontario Chinese Art Association and has judged a lot of painting exhibitions held in Europe and China.
