Vincent Ball is an Australian veteran actor, a writer born on 4 December 1923 in Wee Waa, New South Wales, Australia. Ball graduated from London Royal Academy Dramatic Art in 1950. Before becoming an actor, he employed by General Electric Company. Then he moved to Canada to took military training and also served for The Royal Australian Air Force as a wireless air gunner in Britain at the time of the Second World War. After the Second World War, he returned to Australia and started his old job.

Still, at that time he was attracting in drama and acting, so he decided to correct his accent, he took elocution lessons, where he met his teacher also can say future wife Doreen Harrop, Now they have three children and living in New South Wales. After he corrected his accent, he started to send letters to organizations for an audition. There was an organization, Rank Organization, who was searching for a new actor at that time, and Vincent impressed the makers for chose him in their film. Rank Organization gave a job of standing in the underwater fight with an octopus on behalf of Donald Houston in 1949.

He worked hard and succeed, then cast in the movie Smiling Irish Eyes as a Jack Wagner’s son. Then he found a scholarship from RADA to living in Stowting, Kent. He appeared as a supporting actor in many movies and TV Series for one decade. The Ball started his career in Britain, then he returned to Australia in 1973. In 2014, he came again on the big screen with a play a small role in the TV series, Home and Away, who meets with Alf Stewart in the hospital. The scene aired in April 2015.

He also wrote several books, Words of Silence, Patrick Downs, Self-Assembly processes at the interface: Multi scale Phenomena, Buck Jones, where are you?, Regency Rebel, The Cathedral Tree. Ball has a best friend, Ray Meagher, whom ball met with on the movie Breaker Morant. Vincent said in an interview that I enjoyed every character, which I did; I never thought that I would find an amazing film and TV shows, Now I am trying to write the books for all my fans and followers. Ball honored with an OAM on the Australian Day in 2016 and said that I want people to know that I am still alive. Vincent’s favorite films are The Man Who Sued God, Like Alice, Breaker Morant. Vincent likes to writing and painting.

He is a joyful and passionate person even, at the age of ninety-five above. In 2016, Vincent was also honored with ‘Order Of Australia’ by the government. OAM isA order established in 1975 by Elizabeth II, Queen of Australia, which gives to the Australian citizens for their achievements.
