Born on 19 March 1964 and recognized for his part the movie the Dawn of the Dead as Michael, and for his role as Joe Dubois in a TV series of the genre Drama, Medium, Jake Weber is a renowned English actor. He played the role of Drew in Meet Joe Black and featured as a regular in The Mind of the Married Man and has made guest appearances on the American television series Law & Order: Criminal Intent and NYPD Blue.
Weber, who was born in London, to Susan Ann Caroline and Thomas Evelyn Weber, who has English and Danish, had a troubled childhood.
In an article, Weber mentioned that his father used him as a way to carry cocaine for Mick and Bianca Jagger’s wedding, when he was just eight years old. Around this time, his mother Susan had been diagnosed of depression and schizophrenia due to drug abuse. He and his brother, Charley, were used by his father to traffic drugs to various countries. His father also sold various drugs and was hooked onto them until his death in 2006.
Weber started off his career with small roles, beginning with an unnamed character in ‘Born on the fourth of July in 1989. He got his big break as a lead in Shaun Cassidy’s drama series American Gothic (1995). He played the role of Dr. Matt Crower, a physician who rescues a boy from a possessed sheriff.
Weber also played the lead in ‘The Mind of a married man’ (2001). He played a newspaper employee Jake Berman. Both the programmes did not last long.
Weber then played an important role in the remake of the horror film Dawn of the Dead (2004).
Oweing to his impressive performance, Weber got the role of Joe Dubois in the series Medium. He acted the part of a woman named
