Rory Michael Kinnear is an English Actor. He was born on February 17, 1978, in Hammersmith, England, to Roy Kinnear and Carmel Cryan. He has two older sisters, Karina and Kirsty. He studied at Tower House School and St. Paul's School, London. He graduated in English from Balliol College, Oxford. He studied acting at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). He is engaged to actress, Pandora Golin. They have two children, Riley and Hope. He won the 2008 Laurence Olivier Award for Best Performance in a Supporting Role as Sir Fopling Flutter in the Man of Mode at the National Theatre. His prominent roles include the lead in Thomas Middleton's The Revenger's Tragedy, Mitia in Nikita Mikhalkov's Burnt by the Sun, and Pyotr in Maxim Gorky's Philistines.
He won the best actor award in the Evening Standard Drama Awards in 2010 for Angelo in Measure for Measure at the Almeida Theatre and the title role in Hamlet at the National Theatre. He acted in Stephen Beresford's The Last of the Haussmans and Lago in Othello, both at the National Theatre. He won the Best Actor Award in the Evening Standard Theatre Awards and the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actor, both for his performance in Othello. He also appeared in the title role of the films, Young Marx and Macbeth. He made his directing debut with the opera, The Winter's Tale.
He has appeared in Spectre, Skyfall, Quantum of Solace, and No Time to Die. He lent his voice in GoldenEye 007(2010), 007 Legends(2012), and James Bond 007: Blood Stone(2007).
