Roger Anthony Llyod-Pack was born on February 8, 1944, in Islington, London. He was a renowned English actor. He was the son of Charles Lloyd-Pack and Ulrike Elisabeth. He did his schooling at Bedales School, Petersfield, with A-Level passes in French, Latin, and English. He graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in 1965 with an RADA Diploma. He was married to Sheila Ball, but later, the couple split. His second wife was Jehane Markham. He has four children. His daughter, Emily Lloyd, is an actress. His acting career began at Northampton's Royal Theatre.
He made his stage debut with the play "The Shoemaker's Holiday." His roles, Trigger in Only Fools and Horses(1981-2003), and Owen Newitt in The Vicar of Dibley(1994-2007), got him appreciation and fame. He was cast in Only Fools and Horses by pure chance as he attended the play to see Billy Murray. He acted as Tom in the movie "The Old Guys." He starred as Barty Couch Sr. in Harry Potter, and the Goblet of Fire. He was a part of Doctor Who as the character John Lumic in "Rise of the Cyberman," and "The Age of Steel."
He also appeared on the BBC's The Politics Show in June 2008. In his last appearance on TV, he played the role of Alex Greene in Law and Order: UK. He portrayed the role of Sir Andrew Aguecheek in Twelfth Night, and the Duke of Buckingham in Richard III, both at the Apollo Theatre, London. He patronized Scene and Heard, the London children's charity. He was a Tottenham Hotspur supporter. In the 2012 London Mayoral election, he campaigned for Ken Livingstone. Lloyd-Pack died on January 16, 2014, at the age of sixty-nine, due to pancreatic cancer at his home in Kentish Town.
