Robson Green

Robson Green was born on December 18, 1964, in Hexham, England. He is an English singer-songwriter, actor, and television presenter. He grew up in Dudley, Cramlington. His parents are Robson Green and Anne. He got married to Alison Ogilvie on June 22, 1991, but their marriage ended after eight years. His second wife was Vanya Seager. The couple has a son. They later separated in 2011. He did his schooling at Dudley Middle Comprehensive School. He later joined the Air Training Corps, at the age of sixteen. In 1982, he formed his first band, Solid State, after learning how to play guitar. He appeared in a series at the Backworth Drama Centre while spending one night a week. When he left school with five O-levels, he worked at Swan Hunter's shipyard as a draughtsman.

He even learned professional boxing. Two years later, after being a part of Swan's, he decided to take up acting. He trained himself under the artistic director Max Roberts with the Live Theatre. He was a member of a successful musical local band, the Workie Tickets. He got appreciation, and fame after he worked as an actor in the BBC series Casualty. Then, he played the role of fusilier Dave Tucker in the series Soldier Soldier. He played the role of Derek in Shields Stories(1988), Dudley in A Night on the Tyne(1989) and Liam Marple in Me and Mr. Jones(2002). He sang "Unchained Melody" with Jerome Flynn. It was the best-selling single of the year. He signed a long-term deal with ITV for several series ,including Touching Evil, Reckless, and Grafters. He played the role of Dr. Tony Hill in the crime drama Wire in the Blood.

He starred in The Student Prince(1997), Soldier Soldier(1991-1995), Reckless(1997), Grafters(1998-1999), Close and True(2000), Take Me(2001), Me and Mrs. Jones(2002), Unconditional Love(2003), Trust(2003), Like Father like Son(2005), Rocket Man(2003), The Afternoon Play(2004), Northern Lights(2004-2008), City Lights(2004), Joe Maddison's War(2010), Being Human(2011), Waterloo Road(2011), Strike Back(2013-2015), Gratchester(2014), Age Before Beauty(2018) and many others. He was a TV presenter in shows, including Extreme Fishing, Tales from Northumberland, and Extreme Fishing Challenge. He also got an honorary degree from the University of Northumbria. He was voted at No. 35 by the UK General in a poll of TV's greatest stars.
