Jake McLaughlin

Jacob Adam McLaughlin also known as Jake McLaughlin is an American actor. He was born on 7 October 1982 in California, USA. His father's name is John P. McLaughlin, and his mother's name is R.K.D Victoria. Jake completed his schooling from Chico High School and Notre Dame Catholic School in Chico, California. He then moved to Southern California for obtaining GED. In 2004, Jake married to Stephanie McLaughlin. Jake was a part of Infantry Division. In 2003 during the Iraq war, his units were the first to attack Baghdad.

You may be thinking that Jake is just an actor. In 2002, he joined US Army. Jake served his four years in Iraq. Seeing his intrepid efforts, Jake received many awards. Jake had been bagged with the Combat Infantry Badge, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Army Commendation Medal and much more. For his selfless service in the operation of Iraqi freedom, Jake received four medals. Jake was seen in a magazine named Soldier of Fortune in 2003. His brave and selfless serving for Iraq was described in a book called as 'Thunder Run'.

Jake left the military service after four years. In Oregon, he started working on a boat. He was also a security guard in Universal Studios. In California, he used to do concrete work. Jake gave auditions for the movie 'In The Valley of Elah' which was going to be directed by Paul Haggis. As Jake was an ex-army man, his most of the roles were of army men. Jake was an enthusiast and wanted to grow up his career in film industry. As his first movie achieved huge success, he also acted in other photoplays. In 2008, he appeared in the movie 'Clover field' in which he played the role of a helicopter pilot. Jake appeared in many TV shows also. He was seen in the shows like CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and The Unit. In 2009, the remake of the Oscar-winning film 'Crash' came up on television.
