Jon Glover is an English actor, writer, and voice artist. Jon Glover was born on 26 December 1952 in Crediton, Devon, England. The full name of Jon Glover is Jonathan Philip Glover. He has appeared as an Actor in many television programs such as Play School, Survivors, the Management Consultant in The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, Casualty, Bodger & Badger, Peak Practice, The Crown, The Archers, The Game, and many more. Glover provided the voices of several characters in many animated series and TV series, including the voice of Scarface in Animals Of Farthing Wood animated series, the voice of Dr. Gommen and Gommen Machine in the podcast series Doctor Who: The Tenth Doctor Adventures, the voice of Sir James in Torchwood: Monthly Range Podcast series, the voice of Jafrid in the podcast series Doctor Who: The Novel Adaptations, the voice of Race Commentators in the TV series Peaky Blinders, the voice of Downtown Abbey in King George V and the voice of Walla Artist in the animation Postman Pat: The Movie.
Glover has written the TV series Pallas in 1992, Spitting Image in 1989, and Oh No It’s Selwyn Froggitt in 1978. Glover also appears in radio plays for Radio 4. He was a regular on the Satirical program of Radio 4 Week Ending during the 1980s. Glover also voiced on animated programs such as Little Ghosts, The Adventures of Paddington Bear, Mr. Bean, Ludwig, and Metalheads. Glover has also played the theatrical agent Morris Skellern in BBC Radio 4 of the Charles Paris. In May 2013, he played the roles of Lord Portico and Stockton in a BBC adaption of Neil Gaiman’s Neverwhere, adapted by Drik Maggs.
