Julian Richings

A long-time actor who has made his appearances in more than 50 films and 20 television series, Julian Richings has a legit fan base among people of all age groups, around the world. The English-born actor is 64 years old and was born on September 8,1956 in Oxford, England. Richings attended the University of Exeter for drama. He moved to Toronto in 1984 after touring United States with British stage production. He made his first appearance on screen in second season of television series “War of the Worlds". More popularly known as Mr.Boyle on Ready or Not,Camier on John Woo's Once a Thief ,Richings has made appearances in many Television series and movies before becoming a staple in Canadian film industry.

The actor’s most prominent work on Television includes playing Otto in Stephen King’s mini series Kingdom Hospital. His other works include A Nero Wolfe Mystery and Heartland. He has played several small roles in movies before playing lead. He had an appearance in 1997 film Cuba and science fiction film Thrill Seekers. He also played the role of psychologist Dr.Heker in the Tracey Fragments. In 2000,he earned a Genie Award for best supporting actor for his appearance as Ballenger in The Claim Richings has fan in people watching various genres of movies.

He won hearts with his performance in horror films like Wrong Turn(2003) and The Witch (2015l.He didn’t disappoint drama lovers and did roles like Mr.Turnbull in 2004 movie Being Julia ,Orr in 2004 movie The Last Casino or Corey Misquita’s drama film Reign.He has been presented with three Dora awards till date, the latest one being for is performance in The Palace of the End.
