Jared Martin, also called Jared Christopher Martin, was a profound actor in America who worked in film and television. He completed his education at Putney School and Columbia University. For a few years, Jared worked as a copy boy at The New York Times and as a book reviewer for the Sunday Edition.
Later, Jared left his job to join a summer stock theatre in New Jersey. In 1965, he directed A Night on the Town. His partial filmography includes Murder a la Mode, Mississippi Summer, The Second Coming of Suzanne, The Lonely Lady, Quiet Cool, Karate Warrior, etc.
Jared's television work includes How the West Was Won, The Silent Force, The Rookies, Griff, Columbo, The Fantastic Journey, Dallas, Knight Rider, Airwolf, Hunter, and many more. Dallas, The Fantastic Journey, and War of the Worlds are among his best works. He also started his own production company, Lost Dog Productions, aimed at social service.
Jared also taught acting and directing at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia from 2004-2007. Looking into his marital status, Jares was married to three women, Nancy Fles, Carol Vogel, and Yu Wei, divorcing one after another. Unfortunately, he died of pancreatic cancer on 24 May 2017.
