Dennis Chun was born on March 18, 1952, in Hawaii, USA. He is an actor and director by profession who is renowned for flicks like 'Family' (2012), 'Hawaii Five-0' (2010), and 'Inferno in Paradise' (1974). Chun is the son of actor Kam Fong Chun, who played the protagonist Chin Ho Kelly in the original 'Hawaii Five-0'Â made in 1968.
Chun has made three guest appearances in the original 'Hawaii Five-0' by playing three different minor characters. He also made guest appearances in the remake of the  same show from 2010 to 2012 as the character of Sgt. Duke Lukela. In the 1968 series, the character of Sgt. Duke Lukela was portrayed by Herman Wedemeyer. Chun had appeared sporadically in the early years of the series as the uniform officer at the scene of the crime or working as a crowd/traffic control, later switching over to a plain-clothes detective team member, and became a regular cast member in the latter part of the series.
He has also worked in 'Goodbye Paradise' (1991), as the character John Young, in 'Jake and the Fatman' (1989-1990) as Detective/Johnny Witt, 'Magnum' as William Chun, 'Hawaii Five-0' (1974-1975) as Officer Wade/Assistant/Attendant, 'Inferno in Paradise' (1974) as Kimo, and in 'The Brady Bunch' (1972) in the role of a young workman
