The famous Issach De Bankole, who is known for playing various roles in famous movies like Casino Royale, Night on Earth, Battle in Seattle, The Skeleton Key, The Limits of Control and many other, was born on 12 August 1957 in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. Issach’s parents are from Benin while his grandparents are from Nigeria. Issach earned his MA degree in Mathematics in the year 1978 from Paris. Isaach was discovered in the street of Paris by a Director, who was working on new version of
movie. During that time, Issach was studying to be an airline pilot. He undertook his acting at Cours Simon. He started his acting career in 1984. In 1986, he began playing in cinemas.
He won the Caesar Award for Most Promising Newcomer for a role in a movie Black Mic Mac in 1987.He is well-versed in several languages such as German, Yoruba, Bambara, French, English and Italian too. Isaach got married to an American musician names Cassandra Wilson. Also, he was on the list of highest paid actors in People magazine making 75 million dollars from November 2014 to November 2015. He has worked worldwide with some directors of all nationalities. In New York Vision Fest held in the year 2003, Issach De Bankole won the Outstanding Achievement Award for his work in Killing the Zone. Issach has portrayed some characters from being a terrorist in the movie Casino Royal to being a journalist in movie Machetero and also played a role of President in the 7th season of 24: Redemption.
Besides fifty movies he has also appeared in television series The Unit in 2006 and The Sopranos in 2001. In Andrew Dosunmu's Mother of George he starred as Ayodele Balogun, the movie was featured in 2013 Sundance Film Festival. The movie was also selected for Maryland Film Festival 2013 for closing night.
