Andrew Sabiston was born on 8 February 1965 in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. He started with theatre in his hometown. This got him into a film called Ups and Downs in 1983. His first big break came in Disney Channel’s The Edison Twins for six seasons. He was nominated for Young Artist Award for the best young actor in a cable film series. After this, he did various things in Hollywood, including voice-overs, acting, and writing for content for children. He has created many series, including The Remarkable Mr. King, based on a book series, Kiki & Nuna, Season 3,4, and 5 of Super Kings, Ranger Rob, and The Moblees.
He has written many famous scripts some of which are Agent Binky: Pets of the Universe, Max and Ruby, Mike the Knight, Little Charmers, Just in Time, The Adventures of Napkin Man, Animal Mechanicals, Franklin and Friends, Monster Math Squad, Bo on the Go!, Turbo Dogs, and Lunar Jim. Andrew is also a popular voice actor for leading and side roles. Some of these are Corn & Peg, Little Bear, Mike the Knight, Totally Spies!, Super Why!, Toot and Puddle, Polka Dot Shorts, The Neverending Story, Tales from the Cryptkeeper, The Future is Wild, Donkey Kong Country, Roboroach, Knights of the Zodiac, Rescue Heroes, Air Master, and The Amazing Spiez.
He has also worked with composer Timothy Williams to be the Lyricist and co-book writer for Napoleon. Andrew has been working in the industry for more than 35 years and has gained wide recognition. Andrew has been nominated for many awards and has won some of them as well. His nominations include the Dora Mavor Moore Award, International Emmy Award, Youth Media Alliance Award of Excellence, Canadian Screen Award, Shaw Rocket Prize, Rockie Award, Juno Award, Parents’ Choice Award, and Writers Guild of Canada Award.
He won the International Emmy Award for Mike the Knight in 2015, the Youth Media Alliance Award of Excellence for Best TV program ages 3-5 in 2015, and the Parents’ Choice Award for The Moblees Get Moving in 2019. He has a website with his name dedicated to his work. He also has a Twitter account. He married Stephanie Martin in 1996, a popular singer, actor, and songwriter. The couple has a child together.
