Aml Ameen is a British actor, born on 30th July 1985 in London where he grew up as well. He was born to Jamaican and Vincentian parents. He pursued acting and started studying drama at Barbara Speake Stage School. During his acting school days, he appeared in West End, one of the most globally recognized professional theatre for plays and skits. He appeared in theatre plays like Oliver and Jolson.

He made his debut in 2004 in a TV movie by the name of Bella and the Boys. Aml finally became a debutant actor when he starred as the lead role in Kidulthood, an amazing story about the lives of a group of 15 year olds involved in the criminal world.
A year later, he sarred in ITV’s The Bill, the role which is his most popular to date. He played the character of PC Lewis Hardy, a character which was a headstrong character who has turned his life around by leaving the criminal world and now someone who is living an ideal life. Aml has so far appeared in over 50 movies and TV series, including Sense8, Soy Nero, Evidence and a lot many. He is currently shooting over 5 movies and TV series.
