The Famous Comedy Actor Mayilsamy Passes Away!

“Mayilsamy,” the famous comedy actor cum mimicry artist in the Tamil film industry, who had been busy working in films, passed away earlier today. Mayilsamy felt discomfort in his health, and hence his family rushed him to the hospital. The doctors declared him dead soon after he was admitted and said that he had lost his life before they brought him to the hospital. Mayilsamy is just 57. Mayilsamy started his career in the film industry in 1984. He had worked in a lot of uncredited roles.

Though he had acted with “Rajinikanth” in Panakkaran and with Kamal Haasan in Apoorva Sagotharargal, after “Duet” with “Prabhu” and Prakash Raj, directed by “K Balachander,” Mayilsamy’s popularity rose. His combination with “Vivek” impressed the audience, especially in Dhool, featuring Chiyaan Vikram and Jyothika Saravanan. Besides films, Mayilsamy was interested in some social services and earned appreciation from the public. Recently, he dubbed his voice for his upcoming movie, “Glassmate.” May his soul rest in peace!
