Chinna Kalaivaanar Vivek is a Tamil reality show on Star Vijay and Disney+ Hotstar that premiered on August 29, 2021, and is two and a half hours long. The show is about honoring the legendary Kollywood actor and comedian Vivek. Tamil celebrities come together to cherish and take a walk down memory lane of the legendary life of Vivek. They honor all his contributions to the Kollywood industry.
Vivek's family members also remember precious moments and walk down memory lane to celebrate the late actor. He had passed away on April 17, 2021, due to a cardiac arrest that shocked the Tamil entertainment industry. He acted in over 200 movies with Rajnikanth, Vijay, and Ajith Kumar.
He was also an environmentalist who has won the Padma Shri award for planting more than 33 lakh trees for the Green Kalam Project. The late president, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, had started the project.
