Thadi Balaji is an Indian television anchor and actor. He was born on February 17, 1978, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. He was debuted in the 1997 Tamil film Nandhini and ventured into television through Sun TV’s Mayavi Marichan in 1999.
This was a breakthrough in his career and since then, he started to receive many acting opportunities, mainly as a comedian in supporting roles. Thadi also served as one of the judges in the comedy show “Kalakka Povathu Yaaru?” Together with

Thadi and Erode also won Vijay Favorite Anchor Pair Non-Fiction Award in the same event. After Nandhini, Thadi has done several Tamil films. He was last seen as Moorthy in the 2016 supernatural comedy film, Saravanan Irukka Bayamaen.
In June 2018, he joined the second edition of the Bigg Boss Tamil, together with his ex-wife, Nithya. The ex-couple has a daughter named Poshika. In 2017, Nithya filed a case against Thadi for allegedly torturing her.
