Plot
The film follows the story of four characters, Shekhar, Trilok, Shiva, and Rudra, all played by Dulquer Salmaan. The four characters represent four elements earth, fire, wind, and water. Shekhar’s story is about his tragic love with Radhika, Trilok’s story is about his revenge on those responsible for his pregnant wife’s death, Shiva’s story is about the twisted ties of a family, and Rudra’s story is about love that was doomed to fail since its inception. The four stories are not interconnected in any manner.

Dulquer Salmaan delivers impeccable acting in his four characters, perfectly portraying the varied emotions and struggles of his characters.
Analysis
“Athadey” is an experimental film following the stories of four characters that represent four elements, as well as the different facets of Lord Shiva. Since the film tries to follow four different stories in its limited runtime, the film feels rushed.
