Deepti Sati is a renowned Malayalam film actress. She was born in Mumbai to Divyesh Sati and Madhuri Sati. Her mother was hailed from Kochi while her father is from Nainital. She studied in St. Xavier’s College in Mumbai and completed a degree in Business Administration. She started out her career after joining the Pantaloon Face Hunt and was luckily selected as Most Energetic. She also bagged the Fashion Driven City Mumbai. Besides this, Deepti won the Miss Kerala award in 2012, Navy Queen in 2013 and became the first runner-up at the Princess 2013. She is also one of the finalists at the Femina Miss India 2014. She also earned the Miss Talented award and Miss Iron Maiden award in the same year.

She was introduced to the film industry through Lal Jose’s Malayalam drama film, Nee Na in 2015, alongside Ann Augustine and Vijay Babu in the lead roles. Deepti portrayed the role of an alcoholic and tomboy girl in the film, where it required her to cut her long and thick hair. She said she signed for the film in a condition that she will cut her hair. But with the success and the outcome of the film, she says she has no regrets. Lal Jose saw her from Reji Bhaskar’s (a photographer) photo collections and approached her for the role.

Acting has been her passion as she usually joins school plays and later shifted to theater plays, which helped her in polishing her acting skills. Deepti already performed at the Prithvi Theatre. Aside from that, she knew how to play guitar and learned Bharatanatyam at the age of three. Later, she trained Kathak and moved to contemporary jazz, ball and hip hop. Besides acting, she is also an anchor for a TV channel. Right now, she is not committed to any other projects although she already looked on several scripts. She’s being careful in accepting her next roles, and she doesn’t want to rush things.

Deepa Nair is a movie actress from South India, who is known for her appearance in a few Malayalam movies. She was born on 9th December in the year 1979 in the capital city of Trivandrum in the state of Kerala. Deepa did her graduation by obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in engineering from Sree Chitra Thirunal College of Engineering affiliated to the University of Kerala in Thiruvananthapuram. Apart from her stint in movies, she has also hosted many television programs in Malayalam channels like Asianet. Deepa made her acting debut in the super hit movie named ‘Priyam’ directed by Vasudev Sanal. The movie which came out in the year 2000 cast her alongside stars like Kunchacko Boban and Jagathy Sreekumar. The movie was the Malayalam remake of a Hindi film named ‘Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke’. Deepa was pursuing engineering when she made her debut. She didn’t want to sacrifice her studies at the sake of the film career. She has many times revealed in many interviews that her father, Gopalakrishnan wasn’t permitting her to join the film industry as he wanted her to concentrate on her studies. It was after much persuasion from the directors of the movie, Priyam – Bhagyaraj, Vipin Mohan and Sanal that her father allowed her to make her debut. Even though Deepa was a trained classical dancer, she found difficult to cope up with the fast filmy numbers. Soon after Priyam’s hit, Deepa got many offers from Malayalam and Tamil industries, but her strong passion for engineering deterred her from continuing in films. Just after graduation, Deepa got campus placement in the multinational corporation, Infosys. Deepa had got many offers from Tamil films for glamorous roles, but the actress had turned down such offers as she was interested in doing significant movie roles with substance. Later she got married to a software engineer in Australia, Mr. Rajeev Nair and they both a have a daughter named Shradha.
