Deepti Sati is a renowned Malayalam film actress. She was born in Mumbai to Divyesh Sati and Madhuri Sati. Her mother was hailed from Kochi while her father is from Nainital. She studied in St. Xavier’s College in Mumbai and completed a degree in Business Administration. She started out her career after joining the Pantaloon Face Hunt and was luckily selected as Most Energetic. She also bagged the Fashion Driven City Mumbai. Besides this, Deepti won the Miss Kerala award in 2012, Navy Queen in 2013 and became the first runner-up at the Princess 2013. She is also one of the finalists at the Femina Miss India 2014. She also earned the Miss Talented award and Miss Iron Maiden award in the same year.

Deepti portrayed the role of an alcoholic and tomboy girl in the film, where it required her to cut her long and thick hair. She said she signed for the film in a condition that she will cut her hair. But with the success and the outcome of the film, she says she has no regrets. Lal Jose saw her from Reji Bhaskar’s (a photographer) photo collections and approached her for the role.

Acting has been her passion as she usually joins school plays and later shifted to theater plays, which helped her in polishing her acting skills. Deepti already performed at the Prithvi Theatre. Aside from that, she knew how to play guitar and learned Bharatanatyam at the age of three. Later, she trained Kathak and moved to contemporary jazz, ball and hip hop. Besides acting, she is also an anchor for a TV channel. Right now, she is not committed to any other projects although she already looked on several scripts. She’s being careful in accepting her next roles, and she doesn’t want to rush things.
