Kartik R. Iyer is the founder of Cinematr Talkies. He is a writer, copywriter, screenwriter, associate director, and producer who has worked in Bollywood and the South Indian film industry. He was born on 29 th May in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He did his schooling at Sri Vani Vidyashala High School, then pursued Bachelor’s in Mass Media from C.H.M. College, did a post-graduation diploma in Advertising and Public Relations from Bombay College of Journalism, and has a distance education MBA degree from Sikkim Manipal University.
In 2012, Kartik quit his advertising job to start working as a full-time writer and join filmmaking. Kartik predominantly works in Bollywood, his notable works include films like Wazir (2016), Pizza (2014), Soorma(2018), Dobaara (2018), Taish (2020), and the digital series Flip (2019).He also wrote the Tamil dialogues for the critically acclaimed bilingual (Tamil and Malayalam) film Solo (2017) and PonniyinSelvan (2022).
