T Santhanam

T Santhanam is a Tamil Art Director in the Kollywood industry. His work is highly commendable in the industry, and people appreciate efforts and hard work he puts in. He is an interview told that his inner artist revealed when he was in 10th standard and started drawing diagrams for chemistry and physics classes. He believes that art has a lot of technical aspects like when script and characters go hand in hand, three things should be carefully checked about design- the colors and characters should not contrast even if it perfectly matches with the set, the colours should not get in conflict with the scene's look and should be absolutely blended with the script. He does not consider the movie genre before signing it, he believes that his major job is to mingle with the story. He created 18 sets for Aayirathil Oruvan. He also believes that challenging script doesn't make difficulty in creating sets but likes to build challenging sets for normal stories. After doing his studies, he was pretty sure what he had to do with his career and decided to be an Art Director. He was part of four motion pictures as an Art Director. He controlled the entire backdrop for the film called Achaaram directed by Mohan Krishna and produced by A Sankara Padma and Gnana Desika Ambedkar. The movie received many negative comments from the critics and Indian audience. The other one he did was Deiva Thirumagal directed by A. L. Vijay. The producers were M Chinthamani and Ronnie Screwvala. The actors cast in this were Amala Paul, Karthik Kumar, Lakshmi Priya, Sara Arjun, A. L. Vijay, Nirav Shah, Anushka Shetty, Krishna Kumar, Sachin Khedekar, Surekha Vani, and Ronnie Screwvala.He was a part other motion picture called Demonte Colony directed by R Ajay Gnanamuthu and produced by N Radha and M. K. Tamilarasu. The film received many positive comments from the critics and also Indian audience appreciated the movie. He gained recognition for the amazing motion picture called Irudhi Suttru as an art director. The producer was C.V. Kumar and S Sashikanth. The film received outstanding reviews and comments from the critics and audiences. He also got Vijay Award for the best Art Director in the Kollywood industry. He is very determined and hardworking.


Vijay Adhinathan

Vijay Adhinathan is a professional art director and production designer of films from South India. He has worked in many films in the Tamil movie industry. He is best recognized for his work in the Tamil films Enakkul Oruvan which released in the year 2015 and Echcharikkai Idhu Manidhargal Nadamaadum Idam which hit the theatres in the year 2018. Vijay Adhinathan was born on the 7th of June in the year 1981. He was born in Tindivanam in Tamil Nadu, India. Vijay Adhinathan is currently living and working in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He got his school education from Bhavani Higher Secondary School, and he got his undergraduate college degree from Arignar Anna Govt Arts College in Cheyyar. Vijay Adhinathan then joined as an associate art director at Julien Art Films. The work of Vijay Adhinathan in the Tamil movie Ka Ka Ka Po was very much appreciated especially for the song sequence of Ka Ka Ka Po for setting it up with such elegance. This movie hit the theatres in the year 2016. Vijay Adhinathan was the art director of the movie Indru Netru Naalai which released in the year 2015. For this movie, the film director required design of a time machine. He approached Phantom Effects who did the computer graphics for the movie. The output given by Phantom Effects was similar to the film director's original vision. The design was then corrected and modified slightly by art director Vijay Adhinathan and architect Stalin. Vijay Adhinathan made a physical model of the time machine in a way that it can be dismantled into five parts and arranged wherever possible making it easy to transport. Vijay Adhinathan is also working on the project of Thiagarajan Kumararaja, a young director with a single but sensational movie Aaranya Kaandam. The debut movie of Vijay Adhinathan as an art director was Pizza directed by Karthick Subbaraj which released in the year 2012. His other Tamil projects are Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom in the year 2012, Soodhu Kavvum which hit the big screens in the year 2013, Kutramae Thandanai which hit the theatres in the year 2016, Nejam Marappathillai in the year 2017 and many more projects. Vijay Adhinathan got appreciated for his fresh ideas and a new take on the art varying according to the movies based on its concepts. Vijay Adhinathan also does a variety of trailers and posters for his films along with art direction.
