Chiranjeevi recently lashed out at the piracy cartel.

In a recent interview, the Telugu superstar mentioned the need to curb the piracy, that has struck hard Tollywood the most. He cited examples of films like They call Him OG and Game Changer, which incurred significant losses due to unexpected leaks.

Chiranjeevi is not completely wrong, as piracy has caused significant losses to the Telugu industry in 2024 and 2025. Despite gaining solid traction amongst the masses, Pawan Kalyan’s They Call him OG couldn’t become the earth shattering blockbuster it intended to.
