Plot-
Karthik has graduated as a Mechanical Engineer from the US and is in search of a job in India. Through his friend's recommendation, he gets a job in a production house in Chennai. His family rents a house in Chennai and moves in with him. Karthik falls in love with his landlord's daughter, Jessie. Jessie avoids him as they both are from different castes and believes that her father wouldn't allow her to be with someone of another caste. Some days later, Jessie goes to Kerala to meet her grandmother, and Karthik follows her to Kerala. He confesses his love to her, but she rejects his proposal but agrees to become friends. They start frequently meeting after the incident and eventually fall in love with each other without their families noticing. Meanwhile, Jessie's father starts planning for her marriage, and soon Jessie breaks up with Karthik believing it would bring peace to their lives. The movie progresses with Karthik making his film based on his love story to get Jessie back. Will he succeed in getting her back? To know, watch the movie.
Analysis-
Gautham Vasudev Menon has created something so special that it will remain in the hearts of the audience for a long time. The movie is yet again a masterpiece and will make you fall in in love with it. The romance will catch your eyes firmly without letting you flip it. Both the halves are bound together as it keeps you stick to your chairs for the whole time. People who have the understanding of cinema will love it and will thoroughly enjoy it. The scenic visuals of Kerala, Goa and USA and the pleasing music make it a complete package for romance lovers. It's like a juicy, tasty dish to be grabbed as soon as possible.
Star performances-
Silambarasan and Trisha have stolen the hearts of the audience with their performances. Their sparkling chemistry oozes everyone. The movie is decorated with A.R. Rahman's music, and his name is enough to attract the masses. Gautham Vasudev has done a tremendous job directing this movie. The rest of the crew has well responded to the standards of the movie and doesn't let you down in any instance.
What's there-
1) An amazing love story which could rattle the hearts of the audience.
2) Gautham's catchy guidance and extraordinary understanding of cinema will leave you spellbound after watching his work.
3) The film has melodious music and many big names from the industry like A.R. Rahman, Shreya Ghoshal are connected with the movie.
What's not there-
1) The movie has some minor flaws like excess number of songs which slows down the second half.

The movie is worth spending money, and you must watch it.
