Plot
Haran is a sketch artist. Alisha witnessed a murder. But, when she was about to reveal the truth, she met with an accident and suffered face blindness. The investigation is on, and the case is handled by ACP Allen Jacob. The cop takes his friend Haran’s help to catch the murderer. With the help of Alisha, Haran sketches the killer. To their shock, they find out that the suspected killer is none other than the sketch artist. Allen suspects as Haran’s behaviour becomes abnormal. Meanwhile, a person appears before the law and confesses that he is the murderer. Who is the real murderer? The rest of the film focuses on this.
Star Performance
Tovino is excellent in his performance as Haran. His expressions after he sketches the suspect’s image are impressive. Trisha’s Alisha appears confused throughout. She is quite decent with her performance and attracts the audience. Vinay’s eyes speaks well than his dialogues. He is perfect in his role. A few lip-sync could’ve been done better.
Analysis
The first half starts at a brisk pace. The tension builds up when Tovino sketches the killer’s image. The scene when the murderer gets caught is finely shot. The stars fit perfectly in the roles. When the first half makes the audience sit at the seat’s edge with the whodunit genre, the second half is a complete action pack. The flight fight is amazing and the action choreography is fantastic, making one feel Hollywood action in that scene. The second half is okay, but a few cinematic liberty is seen. However, the tension and the expectation that the first half provided are not properly carried out in the second half. The film is technically sound with good music and visuals.
