Agaram Foundation -
Suriya founded the Agaram Foundation in September 2006. The main aim of this foundation is to provide education to all children, improve the rural school infrastructure, and enable students to get their basic education. Many other initiatives of this foundation, like Vazhikaatigal and Vidhai, are also funded by him. This foundation has a very firm root and a massive impact on Suriya’s life. Not stopping with just schools, this foundation has also extended arms to help out villages by constructing toilets, encouraging women by giving them vocational opportunities, and helping students graduate from colleges as well.
Born For The Society -
Being a brain tumor survivor himself, Lawrence acknowledges the importance of rehabilitation. Starting from the bottom, he rose to his position, and now he is a renowned director among the various roles he plays. He has always been a social activist. He gathered amputees, paralysis victims, and other differently-abled people, with a passion for dance, and started a dance academy dedicated solely for them. This studio gave them a purpose, and they were also cast in many of his movies. He has also participated, provided food and other utilities during the Jallikattu protest in Tamil Nadu.

At the time of the South Indian floods of 2015, Siddharth was in Chennai. He tweeted that his house was flooded. He took the initiative and started to help out the people in need. He tweeted the time and day when he was helping people with transport. He also provided food and medicines, helped deliver them to the flooded houses. The floods washed many real heroes to the shore.

Jallikattu Hero -
As the president of the Tamil actors’ association, Vishal was an active member during the protest against the ban of Jallikattu. He had organized a silent protest of all the actors in support of Jallikattu's cause. The whole of Tamil Nadu backed up by the support from the actors, had a major impact on the law. He had also written a letter to the Prime Minister regarding this issue, demanding a revoke in the law.
