Plot
Kalaiarasan and Kanimozhi are classmates. Kanimozhi’s father and paternal uncle are the big shots in the village whereas Kalaiarasan’s dad Sarangan is the Principal of their school. Kalai and Kani are in love with each other. When Kani’s family comes to know about this, they arrange a village meeting and accuse Kalai. In front of the whole village, Kani says that she didn’t love Kalai. What happens next? Did the villagers punish Kalai? What happened to Kalai’s family? Watch the film in theaters.
Star Performance
Nandhan Ram and Venba have played as per the director’s commands. KS Ravikumar has played a respectable role. RK Suresh and Ponvannan are just present in the film. The most irritating part is that they have wasted Urvashi, the talented star. How Urvashi signed this film? A Big Question Mark!
Analysis
The director Vasudev Bhaskar hadn’t come with a fresh script. This is a usual school love story in a village setup. Vasudev has failed to design the characters well. Both the lead roles are poorly characterized and the only satisfaction is Ravikumar’s role. With the talented star cast, the director could have concentrated more on the script and the screenplay.
