Plot
Shanmugam and Parvathi lived in a village, lying within a dense forest. They were childless for several years and for that reason, the villagers consider them unfortunate and keep them away from village festivals and functions. One day Shanmugam finds an orphan child and he decides to adopt him and raise him. The same day a tiger enters the village and creates chaos. So, the villagers connect the arrival of the tiger with the adoption of an unfortunate child and start blaming the couple for bringing bad luck to the village. Due to the tiger, the everyday routine of the villagers was affected. The forest officers imposed rules and regulations on them, they were under strict instructions to stay inside the village. During this time, some villagers who had completed 48-day fasting wished to go to the village temple, which was impossible with the forest officers' supervision. Will the villagers be able to go to the temple? Will the villagers accept the orphan child and his foster parents? What is the trouble the tiger is going to cause? The rest of the story revolves around it.
