Moondru Per Moondru Kaadhal is a Tamil romance film released in 2013. It is written and directed by Vasanth. It is produced under the banner of Mahendra Talkies.
Plot: As the names suggest, the movie is about three couples and their love stories. Varun is traveling to Ooty and falls in love with Anjana at first sight. Analysis: Vasanth is back after a long time with a romantic drama, "Moondru Per Moondru Kaadhal". The movie has been shot in three different time spans and takes you in different contexts. It is an honest attempt from him, but the movie is slow and long. The story gets out of his grip after the second half, and he fails to get it back in his hand.
Star performances: The movie doesn't have a great star cast, and they disappoint with their performances. However, the different time spans make it interesting and the love stories beautiful. Yuvan Shankar Raja has given average background score. S.N. Fazil needed to give more attention to the editing. Vasanth has done an impressive job in the first half of the movie but fails to continue it in thr second half. However, he has improved from his previous films and should be appreciated for that.
What's there? The movie three love stories and it's a treat to watch them. Three lobe stories in different time spans. Yum! It will take you in a different world, especially in the first half. The music is great and pleases the audience. You will be enthralled to see it. It also has the scenic beauty of Ooty in the first half.
What's not there? The movie lacks the golden touch of Vasanth. Also, the length is a factor which will go against it. The love stories without a twist is big no in the industry and Vasanth has failed to understand it.
Verdict? The movie is entertaining and can be watched if the flaws are ignored.
