Plot: JK Enum Nanbanin Vaazhkai is a Tamil and Telugu bilingual movie directed by Cheran. This movie has Sharwanand, Nithya Menon, Prakash Raj, Mano Bala and Santhanam. We have seen Cheran as a sentimental movie maker with soft characters. JK Enum Nanbanin Vaazhkai is not that kind of movie. Sharwanand plays the title name JK. JK wants to live a stress free life. He does not care the words of his father; instead live the life as he desires. This film is filled with youth activities, trendy song sequences, unlike other Cheran movies.

While we watch this movie, all of a sudden, we could not understand the character and the profession of the hero JK. He acts as a reporter and questions the real estate parties; he visits the residential apartments and gets the complaints from the residents, as if he is the Metropolitan development officer. After collecting this information, we come to know that he wants to do the real estate business. He approaches a bank manager to get loans for his new business and notices the manager’s house is not maintained well and he decides to do interior designing. JK also wants to become a higher end florist. All these different ideas which get into his mind are almost felt by almost every person who wants to come up in the life.

Santhanam and Nithya menon are playing the role as the friends of Sharwanand. Santhanam does his job as a comedian as well. As this film has nothing seriously said the wits of Santhanam do not seem to be odd. There are many people coming in this movie, without any serious roles; but have their part done well. As the regular stories, this film also has sisters’ marriage, brother’s education and hard working father.

Though the film has all the regular mixtures of other movies, it is still shining in Cheran’s style. Music is by G. V. Prakash and the audio release is by Cheran’s Dream Sounds Digital Solution.

Overall, the film is worth watching. It is released in Telugu as Yemito Ee Maaya.
