Plot
Thirumala Naidu, an MLA, secrets grows cocaine on Krishnamurthy’s tea estate. After Krishnamurthy finds out about his illegal activities, he warns him to stop. Nanaji, Krishnamurthy’s car driver, takes care of Krishnamurthy’s grandchild. He is against the Thakurs, who are involved in the cocaine business. When Nanaji was considered a saviour for Krishnamurthy’s family, Maharashtra police are searching for him. Who is Nanaji? What is Balawanth Singh Thakur’s connection with Nanaji? Who is Daaku Maharaaj? The rest of the plot reveals the answers.
Star Performance
Balakrishna’s performance is quite decent. He impresses us with his performances as Daaku Maharaaj and Nanaji. Sharaddha has a limited screen time. Yet, she has done her part well. The same goes for Pragya.
Analysis
The first half is entertaining for Balakrishna fans right from his entry to his punches. Though there are punches, it should be appreciated that they are minimized while comparing his previous films. Many characters are involved, but they have nothing significant to do, including Bobby Deol. His role didn’t have depth. Shine Tom Chacko, Chandini, and Urvashi’s roles are not written well, and even if their characters were edited, we won’t find anything missing. The screenplay and the dialogue are exciting in the first half. The second half is not as engaging as the first half. This is mainly due to the predictability of the plot. The climax should have been planned with better elements. The BGM in action sequences are good, and create Goosebumps for fans. The visuals are decent and the editing should have been crisper.
