In his recent interview, Ajay Gnanamuthu stated that Vikram played in a risky sequence underwater.
The director stated that Vikram’s closed his mouth with a cloth and his legs and hands are also tied while shooting the underwater sequence. Vikram had to get down into the water with hands and legs tied and the actor daringly did this. As the stuntman, who was supposed to body double Vikram, told that he could not hold his breath for long, So, Vikram decided to do it. Vikram had also suffered a nerve injury, as the water entered his ears and eyes. We cannot find such an actor who plays dedicatedly, isn't it!
